Media Statement Regarding a Monkeypox Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Vaccine Clinic

The following statement can be attributed to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit:

In conjunction with key community partners, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit will be hosting a monkeypox pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) vaccine clinic at the Windsor-Essex Pride Fest on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Lanspeary Park (1250 Langlois Ave., Windor) between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Vaccines will be administered to eligible individuals, following successful screening. Vaccine is limited in supply and will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
