Oral health, just like healthy eating and being physically active, plays an important role in our general health and well-being. Oral health is more than just teeth; it also includes your lips, tongue, throat and mouth.

Many people think of brushing and flossing their teeth when they hear “oral health”, which are important factors. But, taking good care of your oral health includes other things like, healthy eating and drinking (especially moderating sugar intake), regular checkups by a dentist, and regular professional cleanings by dental professionals.
