Healthy homes start with recognizing issues that could affect your health. You should educate yourself on issues that can occur within your home. These may include:

Property Standards and Structural Housing Issues

If you need assistance for property standard or structural housing issues, please call the building department in your municipality.

Septic Systems 

Please note that our Health Unit is no longer responsible for the approval of septic system installations. You should contact the municipality where the septic system is located. If you need septic system records between the years of 1973 and 2007, please contact us at 519-258-2146 ext. 3151.
