People who use public pools or spas expect a safe swimming environment. This Pool and Spa course will teach operators how to safely operate public pools and spas in order to prevent and reduce water-related illness and injury to the public.

Who should take the Pool and Spa Course?

The Pool and Spa Course is for:

• Pool operators (for Class A and Class B pools)
• Spa operators
• Owners
• Head lifeguards, head Instructors, aquatic supervisors, or coaches

Course information

The Pool and Spa Course is offered either as  an online e-learning course. The online course is offered FREE of charge and must be completed within 30 days of registration.

Once you finish the course, you will be able to  download and print a certificate of completion. The course is based on O. Reg. 565- Public Pools (2018). It is recommended that you complete an updated course if any amendments are made to this regulation.
