WECHU Student Immunization Clinics - Online Booking

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) is hosting immunization clinics for students at our Windsor Office (1005 Ouellette Ave., Windsor) and Leamington office (33 Princess St., Leamington).

Who is eligible?

Students currently enrolled in elementary or secondary school.

For more information on school based immunization clinics and the vaccines that are required to attend school in Ontario, visit our website.

Please note, routine immunizations are available through health care providers and some walk-in clinics. Families who have a health care provider are strongly encouraged to contact their office to make sure their child’s immunizations are up to date. Don’t forget to provide updated immunization information to the WECHU.

What do I bring to the clinic?

  • Student's health card if they have one.
  • Yellow immunization card and/or immunization records from a health care provider.
  • Immunization notice sent by the WECHU (if received).

Not sure which vaccines your child needs?

Parents/guardians can check their child’s immunization record online at immune.wechu.org to see which vaccines are needed for the 2023/2024 school year. Please note, the child’s health card number is required to login.

If any vaccines are missing from your child’s record, please update the information using the information found on their yellow immunization card or other information provided by their health care provider. Once you’ve added additional vaccine information, please upload a picture of the child’s yellow immunization record, or record provided by their health care provider, so that the Healthy Schools staff can review it. You will need to do this for every child in your family.

What do I need to know before coming to the clinic?

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment(s).
  • Mask or face coverings are strongly recommended at the vaccination site.
  • Parents and/or children should stay home if they feel sick and cancel their appointment(s).
  • Rebook the appointment(s) for a future date.

To cancel/book an appointment online, have the following information ready:

  • Parent/guardian’s contact information (including phone number)
  • Parent/guardian’s email address (in order to receive appointment reminders)

Please note, appointments can be booked without a health card; however, each child will need to show a health card or other form of government issued identification at the appointment.

If you are booking appointments for more than 1 child or need language support at your appointment, please call 519-258-2146, ext. 1222.
