Media Statement Regarding Pop Up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics in N9A and N9C

Issued: Monday, May 3, 2021 | 1:00 p.m. | Windsor-Essex County

The following statement can be attributed to Theresa Marentette, CEO for the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit:

“We are pleased with the excellent community response to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit Mobile Pop Up Clinics in the N9A and N9C area codes. We have now reached the end of our vaccine allocation for these clinics and will not be taking in any new clients. Those who received a card indicating an appointment time today should still attend their scheduled appointment. Anyone with an appointment card will get a vaccine and should report back to the site about 20 minutes in advance of their scheduled time.

For those who live in any hot spot area codes and are 18 years of age or older, you are eligible to book online at WEVAX.ca. New appointment times are added daily.”
