Social Media Overview Graph
Lighter blue line represents the current month, darker blue line represents the previous month.
Notes: We continue to see growth across our Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) which can be attributed to the high number of paid campaigns and boosted posts which have been in market.
Discussion - Neighbourhood Safety Plans
On Wednesday, October 16, the Substance Supports in Neighbourhoods Accessed through Police Partnerships (SSNAPP) released Neighbourhood Safety Plans for four different neighbourhoods in Windsor.
The launch occurred at a media event which was planned in collaboration between the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, the City of Windsor, and Windsor Police Services (who are all part of the SSNAPP). A joint News Release went out in conjunction with the event, followed by a paid social media post. The Neighbourhood Safety Plans are available in four languages, and can be accessed online through the SSNAPP website.
Media coverage included online stories from all local outlets (six stories), as well as coverage on CTV and CBC’s nightly news casts with interviews provided by committee members (including WECHU staff). The boosted social post reached a total of 14,536 accounts on Meta. It was shared by 25 accounts, and 1,642 users clicked the link to visit the SSNAPP webpage with the safety plans.
