On-line Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
This class is led by lactation consultant or registered nurse from the Health Unit. During this interactive class, you will learn how to: begin breastfeeding, latch and position your baby, and optimize your breast milk supply. You will also learn about different feeding options and how to identify your baby's early hunger cues. We look forward to meeting with you.
In-Person Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
This class is co-led by lactation consultants from Windsor Regional Hospital and the Health Unit. During this interactive class, you will learn how to: begin breastfeeding, latch and position your baby, and optimize your breast milk supply. You will also learn about different feeding options and how to identify your baby's early hunger cues. We look forward to meeting with you.
Breastfeeding support is available Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Infant Feeding Assessment and Phone Support: A Registered Nurse, with advanced breastfeeding training, can help parents identify and overcome common infant feeding challenges over the phone. Clients are referred to one of the Health Unit’s certified Lactation Consultants for on-going support, if needed.
Lactation Consultant Support: Certified Lactations Consultants are available to provide more specialized support and on-going care. Individualized consultation is provided via phone or virtual consultation. In-home support is also offered, if needed. Direct referrals to this service are accepted from community physicians and nurse practitioners.
