Personal Service Settings Sterilization Records

Ontario Regulation 136/18 Personal Service Settings states that owners/operators of personal service settings who use sterilizers for re-usable critical equipment MUST keep sterilization records. All fields must be filled out completely.

Records must be kept onsite for at least 1 year, and in a secure location for 2 years afterwards.

Baylisascaris procyonis

Baylisascaris procyonis is a roundworm parasite found in intestines of raccoons. This roundworm can infect people as well as a variety of other animals including dogs. The infection in humans is rare, but can be severe if the parasites infect the eye, brain, spinal cord, and/or other organs
