News Release: Health Unit, Police & City Launch Neighbourhood Safety Plans as Part of the SSNAPP Project

The Substance Supports in Neighbourhoods Accessed through Police Partnerships (SSNAPP) team, comprised of the Windsor Police Service, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, and the City of Windsor, is excited to announce the launch of Neighbourhood Safety Plans for community members in the Downtown (N9A), South Central (N8X), Walkerville and East Windsor (N8Y), and South Walkerville (N8W) areas.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Opioid and Substance Use Notification System.

Partners involved in the WECOSS, including the WECHU, Windsor Regional Hospital, Essex Windsor-EMS, Erie Shores Healthcare, and Police Services, continue to monitor this increase and are working to understand more about these reported cases.
